One of my secrets is that I’m always ready for the baseball season to come to an end, whenever it finally does. It’s not that I don’t love baseball. I love it too much. I watch at least some of every single Yankee game, every year. That’s nearly a 200 day commitment, one that keeps me indoors on beautiful Saturdays and in bars until 10pm on Fridays. Add the intensity of the playoffs to all that, and I don’t have the energy pay attention to the game anymore once the Yankees are done. At gun point, I’m rooting for the Brewers, and looking forward to watching the Lions play the Bears tonight. Use this as your open thread, and I do hope anyone paying attention to the ALCS enjoys the game that’s being played tonight.
