Let’s get it done baby.
I’m looking for a big night out of Thames he has 3 HRs career off of Liriano and Joe must the same confidence batting him behind Cano and ahead of Posada.
I’m going to predict Alex hits a home run tonight and Sabathia goes 8 IP, 6 H, 1 ER, 6 Ks, 1 BB and gets the W with Mo saving the game.
What’s the over/under on steals for Gardner in the playoffs?
How about 5?
I was thinking 7 so yeah we are in the same general area… I would say you would get more over bets on 5 than 7 based on if you think the Yanks go all the way or not.
First pitch is up next… I can’t wait for this game! Everyone have fun and send good vibes to Minnesota.
Well if that’s any indication then Liriano is on tonight and it may be a long night for hitters all around, on the plus side though he did throw some pitches that missed by a considerable amount and Swisher swung at ball 4 so you can see some opportunities to attack and capitalize on.
definitely has the slider working
Marcus Thames is the first Yankee tonight to have a comfortable at bat for the Yankees and it looks like he definitely sees the ball well out of Francisco’s hand.
The big man looked pretty good in the first… I didn’t like the pitch selection to Span I just can’t see going back to the same pitch same location especially down and away to a speed guy who slaps the ball. He looked like he really rebounded with the Mauer AB though getting him to chase the slider away, and what can you say about Cano’s arm other than WOW.
Curtis smoked that ball too bad it was right at first base if that hugs the line just a little more it’s 1-0.
it would have been nice if tex would have taken that 3 1 pitch, his pitch count is up, 19 per. patience..
so much for being patient in the fourth inning
Not a good look on the faces in the dug out… I hope it’s just veteran calm.
i think it is, they know liriano hittable ,just need to get into good hitter count and work walks, then he will come down the middle more..
Liriano looks sick tonight though he has all 3 pitches going.
Terrible pitch sequence all night for Sabathia… How do you throw 3 off speed pitches in a row for balls with the bases loaded when you can throw 95 MPH? He got Joba Syndrome!
the thing i don;t get is thome? 2 outs cruising. go after him.. that was twice tonight..first i believe it was 0 and 2? i guess thome is in his head. shame he was battling pretty good..
great point.
our pen is now set up, need to execute and then MO..
tex yes haha yes son yes hahaYHAHA YES SON

Wood needs to get us through this inning without giving up the lead.
this is why we needed two lefties, my money Mo would not be in now….
Mo will always be in for that situation, he is a second lefty in the pen.
your right Mo is better on lefties , still would like to have a second guy and leave Mo just for the ninth..
pitch to thome , we get him out…great win..Hey Moshe ..golson RF late, change your mind? great rooting guys, it was a hugh win..now lets knock that bums stash off tomorrow.. i think replay will be a very hot topic next year..good night men
sir, i tip my cap.
and mine to you.. see you at 6pm..
I can’t believe they said Golson trapped that ball! If Thome had homered there would have been hell to pay.
Great win tonight boys it puts us in the driver seat! Now lets hope Andy comes out very Andy like tomorrow and gets us the ever important 2-0 series lead.
