Payback’s a bitch especially when it doesn’t actually happen…

Instead of coming out on all cylinders against Seattle and more specifically , the man who broke , the Yankees were shutdown and embarrassed in their own house.

Poor earned a loss after tossing just over six innings of one run ball. He gave up seven hits, struck out four batters and issued one walk. His record is now 10-8. The positive news for Kuroda is that his ERA dropped to 3.19 on the season. So much for him not adjusting to the American League.

There’s not much to say about the Yankees’ part in this game. All they could muster was two hits against King Felix – a double by and a single by . Hernandez didn’t have any of the control problems he exhibited in his last start against the Yankees on July 24 when he broke A-Rod’s finger. He added six strikeouts and two walks to go along with the two hits in nine full innings.

So far in this series there have been two complete games and they have led to victories for each team. What will happen in tomorrow’s rubber game? A no-hitter? Another pitcher’s duel? A blowout?

I’m almost afraid to find out.
