Now that it’s baseball season…
As I write this, Eli Manning and the New York Giants are celebrating their fourth Super Bowl Championship as a franchise, and their second in the last five Super Bowl games. I’m four Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPAs and a shot of Dewar’s White Label deep. I’m walking on an absolute cloud. But as I start to come down, if for no other reason than to just get to sleep, there’s something else on my mind, aside from the Giants’ victory over the New England Patriots: It’s baseball season. Pitchers and catchers may not have reported yet. Spring Training may not have officially started. It may only be the second week of February…but with the Super Bowl over, it’s baseball season. And we have so much to look forward to. Consider this your post to drop the things you’re looking forward to for the 2012 baseball season. Here are a few things from me:
–. I still might be crying over the loss of Jesus Montero, but I’m pumped to watch Pineda throw.
–Watching pitch again. Why? Because watching his games is some of the most fun I can have. There’s nothing like watching the big man when he’s in control.
–While his plate discipline, or lack thereof, may be maddening at times, watching ‘s sweet left-handed swing is an absolute treat.
–Last year, the Yankee outfield of , , and combined for 15.9 fWAR. Can they repeat that? I’m not so sure, but I’m excited to see them try.
–. This may be his last year, so let’s savor every single pitch even more than we already do.

Most poker sites open to US players also provide online casinos accepting USA players. A good example of this is BetOnline.com, where you can play 3D casino games, bet on sports or play poker from anywhere in the United States.

If you like Dogfish Head 90-minute, you might want to try Arcadia Hoprocket (not the Hopmouth) or Davidson’s IPA. Hard to get the latter but well worth it.
