Opening Day 2010
The 2010 baseball season finally kicks off tonight, as our beloved Yankees take on the Boston Red Sox at 8:05pm at Fenway Park. Toeing the rubber for the Yankees for his second straight Opening Day start is CC Sabathia, who will be opposed by Josh Beckett. I haven’t seen the lineup yet, but it probably looks like this:
SS Jeter
DH Johnson
1B Teixeira
3B Rodriguez
2B Cano
C Posada
CF Granderson
RF Swisher
LF Gardner
I wonder how many other teams have their outfielders in the bottom three slots of the lineup.
I also thought it’d be fun to go back and see how the Yanks have done during the last 20 Opening Days:
13-7. Not too shabby.
See you at the first pitch.

Most poker sites open to US players also provide online casinos accepting USA players. A good example of this is BetOnline.com, where you can play 3D casino games, bet on sports or play poker from anywhere in the United States.

LETS GO YANKS!!!
Really interesting that seven of the opposing pitchers of record were also Yankees at one point (Orosco, Gibson, Clemens, Brown, Rogers, Erickson, Wells)
[...] readers may recall that prior to last year’s Opening Day I took a look back at the Yankees’ Opening Day results going back to 1990, and in honor of 2011 Opening Day, I’ve decided to update that table, and also include the [...]
