Littelfuse reported Wednbesday financial results for Q4, with earnings and revenue that beat analysts’ expectations; it also provided guidance for Q1 in line with forecasts. Shares were up marginally in the pre-market session. The supplier of circuit protection products for the electronics, automotive and electrical industries posted adjusted earnings of $1.57 per share, compared with the prior-year period’s $1.14 per share. Analysts polled by Capital IQ were expecting EPS of $1.52.
Revenue was $284.5 million, up 29% from $220 million in the same quarter last year. The Street view was for revenue of $274.8 million. For Q1, the company expects adjusted EPS of $1.56 to $1.70 on revenue of $278 million – $288 million. The Street view is for EPS of $1.63 on revenue of $280.5 million
The company will pay a cash dividend on its common stock of $0.33 per share on March 9 to shareholders of record as of Feb. 23.
