Polaris Industries to Wind Down Victory Motorcycles Brand

Polaris Industries shares were down over 1% Monday morning after the company said it will immediately start winding down its Victory Motorcycles brand and related operations.

The maker of motorcycles and other vehicles said it decided to wind down the brand as Victory struggled to gain enough market share to be profitable. Polaris said it will help dealers liquidate existing inventories while continuing to supply parts for a 10-year period. The company said it will now focus on its Indian Motorcycle and Slingshot brands.
