SuperCom Subsidiary Awarded Four Key Patents

SuperCom, a provider of traditional and digital identity solutions, said Tuesday that its Alvarion subsidiary was awarded strategic patents that optimize and enhance the performance of cellular networks and improve cellular coverage within enterprises and other closed, indoor structures.

These patent cover the method and system for managing a wireless network comprising a Distributed Antenna System; wireless over Passive Optical Network; a method for transmitting communications in wireless network re-use schemes; and OFDMA-based operation of a wireless subscriber terminal in a plurality of cells.

The company currently has a portfolio of 115 patents covering cyber, data security and cellular and wireless communication solutions.
